MINI CASE STUDY

So we selected an Australian stable at random that wasn’t the largest and wasn’t the smallest. Phillip Stokes Racing was the winner. Throughout the racing calendar year from 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2024, if every horse in the Stokes stable finished just 1 position higher in each race, that would have resulted in an additional $3,532,999.00 in prizemoney. We don’t claim to revolutionise anything, just simple incremental improvements through the use of data that benefits the stable, the horse’s welfare and the owner’s pockets.

ABOUT STEEPLE

A commonly used word in the racing industry, the name Steeple is also a tip of the hat to Paul Revere’s midnight ride on April 18, 1775; a pivotal moment in the American Revolutionary War.

The famous signal of "one if by land, two if by sea" was conveyed through the use of lanterns hung in the steeple of the Old North Church in Boston. This ingenious communication method devised by Revere and his mates, provided a significant strategic advantage.

Via the use of lanterns to indicate the route of the British, Revere and the colonists were able to prepare their defenses, winning the battle & ultimately winning the War.
